It has a smooth oval shape, with a foam rubber gasket that adheres directly to the compatible spa shell. If your Balboa spa controller is from either the VS500/501 and GS Series, it is compatible with this control.

The parts it directly replaces are: BB53645, 33600, E4, 54268, 53566, so check your owner's manual and the part itself to make sure that this unit is the right choice for you. Most Balboa controls have stickers with the serial number and part number directly underneath, so check your old unit to guarantee compatibility with this part. This is extremely important because the EPROM on the controller this connects to may not be compatible with topside controls that look identical to this part.
