The Unicel Filter Cartridge C-7460 is designed for maximum contaminant removal and longer life. It is made of point-bonded polyester with an evenly distributed fiber load which allows it to capture more dirt while maintaining higher flow rates, resulting in less wear on the pump and reduced energy usage. The open-core design provides a strong foundation for the media, preventing any restrictions in flow. The anti-microbial end caps stop the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew while supporting the media. Additionally, banded pleats maximize flow during operation, making them easier to clean and reducing the frequency of cleaning for extended life cycles
