Hayward Super Pump VS Basket SPX1600M is designed to be easily removed from the pump trap with two fingers with built-in slots located on the top of the basket for easier strainer cover removal to aid in quicker basket cleaning. Ordinary baskets have a handle across the center of the basket which can trap debris on the handle eventually breaking the plastic handle.
