Maytronics Impeller, Maytronics Dolphin, Black, w/Screw, Quantity 1, 9995266-R1 is the longer version of the impeller and has an extra leg on it. The impeller’s function is to bring the water up through the robot and is the catalyst in the filtering process. It works to bring the debris into the robot’s cartridge or filter bag while circulating the water out. The best practice is to clean the impeller off at least weekly or bi-weekly depending on the usage.
