Pentair Lock Ring Rainbow R172214 is a genuine replacement part. It has buttress thread on the inside, 24 ribs on the outside and is marked 172214, LOCK RING, ON, OFF on the top lip. The top lip has 4 small notches spaced evenly around the ring dimensions. This lock ring is easy to install but securely fastened to avoid leakage.
