It also features a 5.0hp HP rating and 60 Hz frequency rating, as well as 2-1/2" suction pipe size and male buttress thread (mbt) suction connection type for easy installation. The center suction style and 2" discharge pipe size with male buttress thread (mbt) discharge connection type provide a side discharge style that is sure to meet any of your needs. The 56-frame thru-bolt motor frame also has 3,6,9 o'clock drain plug location for easy and convenient maintenance.

This pump is thermally protected to extend the life expectancy of the motor and is also highly versatile with its wet end that can be rotated every 90°. The large 2-1/2" intake provides improved flow performance and reduced noise, while the 6-1/2" diameter wet end ensures a higher head pressure. Further, this spa pump features two double-shielded ball bearings with moisture-resistant grease for quieter operation and longer life. In addition, the two-speed motors have four sets of insulated windings for increased efficiency and a split capacitor (start and run) for less energy consumption.
